It’s that most exciting time of year again. Property tax exemption forms are due to the county assessor’s office February 14, 2011. You should have received your paperwork in the mail in 2010.
Like last year, MCF’s Property Holdings is offering you another training on how to process this paperwork. It is scheduled for Thursday, January 27th 10 – 11am at the Marin Nonprofit Resource Center – 555 Northgate Drive, San Rafael (1st floor conference room).
It is imperative that you complete this annual process in a timely and accurate manner to avoid incurring property tax fees. A sometimes misunderstood aspect of operating a nonprofit organization, it’s crucial the particulars not get overlooked. We’d like to extend our support by helping walk you through the requirements.
